Tommy Picard


Tommy has been involved with youth sports for over 30 years and has been running a youth organization for over 20 years now. Tommy has been involved and hosted over 9 World Series as well as multiple Biddy Basketball National Tournaments. With Tommy's guidance QSA has slowly become the leading rec provider in the area. Jeremy Picard

Vice President

Jeremy has been working with QSA(formerly A.A Comeaux Youth) for 10 years now. Jeremy is in charge of all the day to day operations where he oversees all youth basketball, baseball and all tournaments and camps. Jeremy is also the head of baseball operations and runs the Team Louisiana Baseball Organization. Jeremy has coached both on the college level and High School level for 15 years and has coached on the youth level for 10 during the summer. Nathan Granger

Nathan has been involved in Youth Sports for over 20 years. Nathan is involved in the decision making of all day to day operations. Nathan serves as a board member on the QSA board as well as a volunteer coach in our Biddy Basketball and Pony Baseball leagues. As a successful business man Nathan has been a key part to helping this organization run and get off the ground.


Bert Migues

Pitching Instructor

A graduate of New Iberia Sr. High, Migues pitched for Jones Community College in Mississippi before returning to his roots as a pitching coach for NISH. Bert is currently an Assistant Coach at Erath High School and also one of our Coaches for our High School program

Brooks Badeaux

Lead Hitting Instructor

Our lead hitting instructor Brooks is a graduate of Tuerlings High School. Brooks then went on to a stellar college career at Florida State University. Brooks then extended his playing days with pro baseball experience. Brooks player professionally in the Tampa Bay Rays system as well as The Baltimore Orioles system. Brooks also went on to win a Gold Medal for Team USA in the 1995 Pan Am Games.

After his spectacular career as a professional baseball player, Brooks decided to return home where he spent two years coaching at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Presently, Brooks serves as an Head Coach for the USA National Development 14U baseball team.

Brooks is currently the head of player and coach development for Team Louisiana Baseball and Coaches our 9U Baseball Team.

Brooks does lessons at our Lafayette facility which is located on 114 Eunice Street.

Jeremy Picard

Hitting /Fielding/Catching Instructor

Jeremy is the Vice President of QSA and is currently the head of baseball operations for Team Louisiana Baseball and hitting/catching instructor. Jeremy has coached on all levels of baseball. His background includes coaching stints at Vermilion Catholic, St. Thomas More High School, Barbe High School, Bossier Parish Community college and currently the Head Baseball Coach at Erath high School. Jeremy also worked under current Ole Miss Head coach Mike Bianco at McNeese State University.

Mikie Mahtook

Seasonal Instructor

As a graduate of St. Thomas More High school Mikie continued his playing career at LSU where he had a stellar career where he also helped the tigers capture a National Championship in the 2009 season. After his junior season Mahtook was drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays in the first round. Mikie was recently selected to the 2012 All-Star team .
Mikie is not an seasonal instructor and he will do instruction/camps during the off season . Also, look for Mahtook to do some offseason training at our facility

Taylor Dugas

Seasonal Instructor

Upon graduating from Tuerlings Catholic High School, Taylor Dugas accept a scholarship offer to play baseball for the Alabama Crimson Tide and was quickly recognized as an invaluable asset to the university. In addition to the multitude of awards and titles received during his four years playing for Alabama, Taylor earned a top-ten ranking in 14 different statistical catagories, and continues to hold the record for hits(334), singles(235), doubles(67), and triples (18), earned during his tenure.

Dugas was recently drafted by New York Yankees in the 8th round of the 2012 Major League Draft.

Dugas is a seasonal instructor and plans hosting instruction/camps during the offseason. Also, look for Dugas to do some training at our facility in the offseason.
